Powerful Prayers To Break Spirit Of Rebellion

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God In the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
Parents and intercessors ask, “Lord, what do You want for this young generation?” Surely God’s answer is that they inherit the promises promised to the descendants of His servants (Deut. 7:9, Ps. 33:11, 100:5, 112:2; Isa. 41:4, 44:3, 49:25, 54:13,17; 59:21; Acts 2:39, Eph. 3:21). At Christian concert, I saw more than 7000 radical dedicated sold-out young people praising God at the top of their voices. I was really impressed how on fire for God they were.
Thank God for every righteous forerunner of the young generation. In general, young people today are being opposed to a degree that perhaps the world has never seen. The adversary of their souls is waging spiritual battle for the lives of an entire generation. Those whom the enemy cannot extinguish by abortion he is intent on stealing, killing, or destroying at younger and younger ages.
If you have a beloved rebel who is resisting the grace of God, your most urgent assignment is to pray for him or her, that they will withstand the enemy’s assignments against them (Gen 22:17, Ps 127:5). We must pray that they will receive the incredible love of Father-God for them, who does not wish any of them to perish. First, we need to pray this prayer for our own rebel wills, so that we can intercede from humility. We are all children of Adam, and our Intercessor sees our hearts that are prone to stray from Him. An old hymn sings our prayer, “Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wand’ring heart to Thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love. Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above.”
Pray this way:
Holy Father, we are not fighting flesh and blood. The Lord Jesus Christ has all spiritual authority in this battle for the spirit, soul, and body of (my loved one). The issue is who will rule them: the Lord Jesus Christ or the king of lawlessness. The adversary is prowling around seeking to devour them, but we pray that they will be self-controlled, alert, resisting him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).
From my position as priest in (my loved one’s) life, because I have authority in Jesus’ name and blood, I command the enemy assignments against them to cease. I rebuke passivity, blindness, rebellion, and evil influence that causes them to fall into errors of judgment, wrong choices, or outright sin. I take all curses and vows in force against them and our family and nail them to the cross of Jesus Christ (Col 2:13-15, Gal 3:13-14). In Jesus’ name and authority, I stand against the works and workers of iniquity (Ps 91:13, Luke 10:19). I stand against ancestral, generational, and familiar empowerments. I plead Your covering of grace and mercy over all their present and past involvement in sin, iniquity, and rebellion that could give the evil one legal ground to affect or control. I pray for holy conviction of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I renounce the power of false loyalties and sever soul-ties with anybody who is not sold out to the true and living God. I ask the blood of the Beloved Son of God to judicially deal with and destroy the works of the evil one, thereby closing the doors to harassment.
Heavenly Father, Jesus in us is greater, and we pray for our Captain of the Lord’s host to expose the schemes of wickedness and defeat its tactics. Protect (my loved one) with a heavenly guard. This battle is under the command of the Ancient of Days, the Captain of the Lord’s hosts.
From my position as priest in (my loved one’s) life, I bless (my loved one) in Jesus’ name.  I pray that they will hunger and thirst for righteousness. Strengthen them in the Lord and cause them to order their life under the Lordship of Jesus. Establish them in godly wisdom and the fear of the Lord. Train them in the discipline of the Lord that will yield holiness and the fruit of righteousness. I ask for your favor to rest on them.
God, You commanded light to shine out of darkness. Please shine in (my loved one’s) heart to reveal Your glory in victory in their life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Because God is good, he is merciful and forgiving. He is the good Father who welcomes a prodigal with a hug, a feast, and a party with music and dancing. Because he is good, he wants good things for your beloved rebel, and he is giving and generous and wants to bless him or her. God cannot change, his goodness is constant, never wavering or failing (James 1:17). When you minister in his goodness, you minister something of his love. Thank your loving Father for his heart to call the heart of your rebel back to him.
